A fear, an encounter, a journey through emotions.
Created by Marzia Pellegrini and Riccardo Trovato, both graduates of the Teatro Arsenale School in Milan, the performance weaves together puppetry and rhyming verse in a poetic theatrical language that engages children and adults alike. By turning a familiar story on its head, it invites the audience to shift their perspective and question what we often take for granted.
A delicate and humorous story that leads children and adults to discover a truth as simple as it is surprising: even the wolf is afraid.
synopsis
It is almost night. A little girl is struggling to fall asleep, while deep in the woods a wolf is also trying to get some sleep. They are both afraid. She is afraid of the wolf, and he is afraid of the girl. Each convinced that the other poses the greater danger, they face a night filled with imagination, unexpected encounters and small acts of courage. A journey that invites us to look beyond appearances and discover that even those who frighten us may have a story very different from the one we imagine.
