La grande scalata di Binda, Bartali e Coppi
Una vita

The performance Una vita sui pedali / La grande scalata di Binda, Bartali e Coppi, created by Pietro Grava, Federico Nava and Riccardo Trovato, is an engaging and lively production that brings a series of well-known episodes to the stage, placing them effectively within their historical context.
An entertaining performance that never loses sight of the more difficult moments in their lives. I personally enjoyed it immensely.
A show that deserves to be seen by wider audiences.
Lauretta Binda, daughter of Alfredo Binda
Three champions, three lives, three actors to tell their stories. Una vita sui pedali – La grande scalata di Binda, Bartali e Coppi was born from the artistic collaboration between Pietro Grava, Federico Nava and Riccardo Trovato, actors who graduated from the Teatro Arsenale School in Milan.
The show brings the stories of Alfredo Binda, Gino Bartali and Fausto Coppi to the stage through a theatrical language that blends storytelling, physical expression and clowning. Sporting achievements and personal stories come together in a dynamic structure that moves across different eras and styles with a light touch, without losing the depth of the stories being told.
A performance in which sport becomes the starting point for exploring people, relationships, rivalry, friendship and memory, revealing the more human side of three figures who left an indelible mark on the history of Italian cycling.
synopsis
Fausto Coppi and Gino Bartali, two cycling legends divided by competition yet united by a deep bond. Their paths cross with that of Alfredo Binda, another great champion, who would go on to become their national team coach.
On stage, three actors attempt to tell their stories through words, movement and emotion. Amid laughter, clashes and constant shifts in perspective, sporting episodes and personal events come to life before the audience, until the very process of creating the show becomes the show itself. Balancing on a fine line, moving across different eras and theatrical languages, the three actors set out to tell the lives of Binda, Bartali and Coppi, both on and off the road, beyond the great achievements that made them legends. Will they make it across the finish line too?
